I guess it’s impossible for anyone even remotely familiar with us to have missed that we finally moved into our new home on Tuesday July 1st. Amazing to move into a new place and feel right at home already the first night.

We finally bought a new house today, and thus put an end to a year-long search for a new place to live. We must have been to literally hundreds of prospects and have bid for a couple of other houses, and today finally completed the journey.
The house is a dream – it’s only two years old, built by a family who shares our desire for quality and detail, and is in a very nice neighbourhood. To top it off, it’s a smarthouse, meaning that everything from the heating to the lights and sound system is controlled through KNX (formely known as EIB) through a central computer in the basement. Way cool!
We’re moving in shortly after July first, and now need to accelerate our process to sell our current apartment.
Life is good, indeed!
